What will you do?

  • This involves writing, editing, proofreading, and peer-reviewing manuscripts, including original studies, experimental and simulation studies research, technical notes, survey papers, short communication, review articles, letters to the editor, book review, invited papers, tutorial papers, emerging technologies, application notes, case reports, literature reviews, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, documents for journal submissions, theses, and dissertations.
  • Utilize advanced tools, methodologies and techniques to conceive, model, and optimize mechanical systems specific to Mechanical Engineering, ensuring precision and accuracy in the content. This may include software such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB, Simulink, CAD tools, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software, and other industry-specific tools. Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD enable precise 3D modeling, while Finite Element Analysis (FEA) programs like ANSYS and Abaqus simulate structural behavior. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools like Fluent analyze fluid flow, and Multibody Dynamics software like Adams simulates complex motion. Additive Manufacturing software prepares 3D printing, and PLM systems like Teamcenter manage product lifecycles. These tools, coupled with techniques like failure analysis, optimization software, and experimental testing, empower mechanical engineers to innovate, optimize, and ensure reliability in diverse applications.

What do you need?

  • A Post Doc/PhD/master’s degree or expertise in the field of Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in relevant subfields.
  • Prior experience in research and writing, along with a preferred certification in academic writing, editing, publishing, technical report writing, scientific and technical communication, journal article composition, and more.
  • Proficiency in diverse writing styles and conventions pertinent to academic and scientific documents. Strong writing and editing skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail (previous writing experience would be a valuable asset).
