These materials are intended for publication in esteemed journals within various subfields of the game development domain. PhdAssistance is currently searching for skilled freelance technical writers in the field of game development, who possess a high level of proficiency in the English language, preferably as a first language (e.g. the USA, Europe, and UK). The company is seeking individuals to collaborate on research writing, editing, and scientific communication services.

What Will You Do?

• Conduct in-depth research on game development and generate content in the realm of game development, encompassing diverse sub-specializations such as Game Design, Gameplay Programming, Graphics and Visual Effects, Artificial Intelligence in Games, Game Physics, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and more.
• This involves composing, editing, proofreading, and peer-reviewing a range of manuscripts, including original research studies, experimental game studies, technical notes, survey papers, review articles, letters to the editor, and more.
• Utilize advanced tools and techniques specific to game development, ensuring precision and accuracy in content creation. This may include programming languages like C++, game engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine, , Godot, CryEngine, graphics libraries, physics engines, simulation environments, and more.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the game development field to produce cutting-edge research content.

What Do You Need?

• A Post Doc/PhD/master’s degree or expertise in the field of game development, with specialization in relevant subfields.
• Prior experience in research and writing, along with a preferred certification in academic writing, editing, publishing, technical report writing, scientific and technical communication, and more.
• Proficiency in diverse writing styles and conventions pertinent to academic and scientific documents. Strong writing and editing skills, along with meticulous attention to detail.
