Freelance specialist technical writers and editors play a pivotal role in the PhdAssistance business model (www.phdassistance.com) by ensuring client satisfaction through the creation and refinement of high-quality proposals, manuscripts, and evidence-based reviews, intended for publication in esteemed journals across various subfields of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) domain. At present, PhdAssistance is seeking specialist freelance technical writers in the field of CSR, who possess a high level of proficiency in the English language (preferably as a first language, such as the USA, Europe, and UK). We are looking for individuals who can collaborate with us on research writing, editing, and scientific communication services.

What will you do?

• Conduct scientific research and compose content in the realm of Corporate Social Responsibility, spanning various sub-specializations such as CSR theories, frameworks, sustainability reporting, ethical business practices, stakeholder engagement, social impact assessments, and more.
• This involves writing, editing, proofreading, and peer-reviewing manuscripts, including original studies, empirical research, case studies, technical notes, survey papers, short communication, review articles, letters to the editor, book reviews, invited papers, tutorial papers, emerging trends, application notes, literature reviews, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, documents for journal submissions, theses, and dissertations.
• Utilize advanced tools and techniques specific to CSR research, ensuring precision and accuracy in the content. This may include software such as data analytics tools, sustainability reporting platforms, stakeholder engagement software, and more.
• Implement CSR frameworks and strategies, leveraging tools such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), ISO 26000, UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), and various sustainability assessment methodologies for evaluating social and environmental impacts.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Corporate Social Responsibility to produce cutting-edge research content.

What do you need?

• A Post Doc/PhD/master's degree or expertise in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, with specialization in relevant subfields.
• Prior experience in research and writing, along with a preferred certification in academic writing, editing, publishing, technical report writing, scientific and technical communication, journal article composition, and more.
• Proficiency in diverse writing styles and conventions pertinent to academic and scientific documents. Strong writing and editing skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail (previous writing experience would be a valuable asset).
