Introduction

Housing is not only shelter; it is a manifestation of social justice, urban development, and economic sustainability. These topics have emerged as urban areas grow and populations increase, making housing studies a key focus of determining how we can address affordability crisis, urban inequality, sustainable development, and increasingly, housing policy in a rapidly changing legislative landscape. In this collection of dissertations, I will discuss significant issues such as affordable housing, homelessness, urban regeneration, sustainable housing design, and the policy context that shapes how people live and develop communities.
